Wireless Headset Light

I went to the drive-thru at Chick-fil-A recently.  At lunch time these guys take your order outside in the lanes.  They wear headsets that have LED lights on them.  These lights glow while communicating with the staff indoors.  The sunlight at lunchtime is very bright, yet those LEDs are still noticeable.

This is an example of brightness versus intensity.  The intensity of the LED never changes but its brightness is less at lunchtime in a parking-lot compared to what I imagine the LED looked like in the restaurant.
